Blaskapelle pro Stany

12 talented musicians around the conductor Alfred Schweiger made the idea a reality in 2010 and set up their own "Bohemian-Moravian" brass band. The name came from thinking about where the music is played most often: "in the festival tent or beer tent", this is how the brass band pro Stany came into being, which translates as much as the brass band for the beer tent. The roots of the brass band pro Stany lie in the brass band music of the Bruck, Mürzzuschlag and Leoben districts, influenced by the brilliant brass band music of the top bands from Innsbrucker Böhmische, Mistrinanka, Vlado Kumpan, Hans Makos and many more. We cultivate stylish and above all high quality Bohemian and Moravian brass music. Our repertoire ranges from brass music standards to solo pieces across all registers.
