2019 new concept for ticket prices

Wednesday, 20.02.2019

The open-air concerts in Schladming and Haus im Ennstal (as well as the church concerts there) have already been visited with free admission. New this year is the fact that the hall concerts in the congress Schladming can be visited free of charge in the morning and afternoon (or for a voluntary contribution that benefits the World Youth Wind Orchestra project).

One of the reasons for this decision is that the hall - at high-class concerts of international orchestras - is unfortunately often sparsely filled during the day. As the participating orchestras often literally travel from the other side of the world into the green heart of Austria to participate in the festival, this is an attempt to increase the number of visitors to the concerts in the hall during the day, to give the necessary appreciation to the orchestras, and to bring the listeners the world wide variety of brass music closer.

The concert evenings on Tuesday (opening concert) and Saturday (with concerts by the WYWOP and WAWOP orchestras, as well as the City Wind Project of the twin town Wetzlar) are to be visited against admission - the evening ticket is available for € 19, -. All entries are of course included in the Festival Pass (€ 35, -). Children up to 14 years are free.
