Trachtenmusikkapelle Grünburg

In 1963, 12 musicians came up with the idea of founding a brass band. Just 14 days later, the first steps were taken in a provisional start-up meeting and finally, on June 23, 1963, the official start-up meeting took place with 92 people – of which 20 were musicians.

Over the past 57 years, the orchestra has developed into an indispensable cultural institution in the Steyr Valley region and today counts 50 musicians. The annual musical program ranges from the organization of social and church festivals to marching shows. The musical highlights are the annual autumn concert and project concerts, as well as participation in the concert and march evaluation games of the Upper Austria. Brass band.
