Stadtkapelle Schladming

The Stadtkapelle Schladming was originally founded by Josef Fischer in 1843 as the Bürgermusikkapelle Schladming, making it the second oldest music association in the music district of Gröbming.

It only got its current name, Stadtkapelle Schladming, a century later, shortly after the Second World War.

After many highs and lows in the past decades, the Stadtkapelle Schladming is enjoying 45 active musicians and 6 marketers under the current direction of conductor Hannes Moser (since 2012) and chairman Wolfram Siegmund (since 2015).
