Yucai Second Primary School Wind Band of Shenzhen
The Yucai Second Primary School Wind Band of Shenzhen was founded in 2014 with the aim of using music education to cultivate students' moral character and enhance their cultural literacy. Through ensemble training, the band seeks to instill in its members a broad perspective on life, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and harmony. In recent years, the band has received numerous awards from local and international competitions and has organized performances and concerts to promote music education and appreciation among students. The band's achievements include winning the gold medal and exemplary team awards in the Shenzhen Inter-School Wind Band Festival from 2015 to 2022, the third prize in the Youth Group of the Central European International Wind Band Festival in July 2016, the silver medal in the Hong Kong International Wind Band Spectacular in July 2017, the top prize in the National Children's Flower Nanshan District Art Exhibition Competition in May 2018, the silver medal in the 6th Singapore International Wind Band Festival in July 2018, and the second prize in the 2019 Nie Er Youth Wind Band Art Week Competition in July 2019.

Conductor: Chen Xiao
Chen Xiao, who serves as the conductor of Yucai Second Primary School Wind Band of Shenzhen is now a member of Shenzhen Wind Ensemble Association. She has been devoting herself to the education of pip music since 2005 and has till now 15 years of experiences on conducting and educating of wind band. In May 2014, she took over the position of the conductor of Yucai Secondary Primary School Wind Band and did massive research on how to improve the newly built band to a higher level. Her success has been proved by the remarkable achievements they have made in recent years:
From 2015 to 2022, she conducted the band to participate in the “Shenzhen Inter-School Wind Band Festival” and won gold medal and exemplary team in the primary school category.
On July 16, 2016, she conducted the band to participate in the “Mid Europe-International Competition for Youth Band” in Schladming and won the third prize in the youth group.
On July 14, 2017, she conducted the band to participate in the “Hong Kong International Wind Band Spectacular” and won the silver medal.
On May 4, 2018, she conducted the band to participate in the “National Children's Flower Nanshan District Art Exhibition and Performance Competition” and won the special prize.
On July 24, 2018, she conducted the band to participate in the “6th
Singapore International Wind Band Festival” and won the silver medal.
On July 21, 2019, she conducted the band to participate in the “2019 Nie Er Youth Wind Band Art Week Competition” and won the second prize.
