Beijing Changping Chengguan Primary School Wind Band was established in 2000 and is a vibrant artistic group that embodies the characteristics of the school's arts education. With >span class="NormalTextRun SCXW85513434 BCX8"> for arts education from the school, the band has continuously developed, and its overall performance level has been steadily improving.
In May 2019, they were awarded the Demonstration Band Prize at the 13th China "Zhonghua Cup" Outstanding (Symphonic) Wind Band Exhibition.
In August 2019, they won the Gold Award at the Edinburgh Youth Orchestra International Music Festival.
In May 2021, they achieved a Gold Award at the Beijing Primary and Secondary School Students' Art Festival Instrumental Exhibition.
In July 2021, they were awarded the title of Demonstration Band at the 14th China "Zhonghua Cup" National Student Wind Band Exhibition in Shanghai.
In July 2021, they won the Best Performance Award at the "Celebrating the Centennial of the Founding of the Party" Wind Band Art Exhibition for National Campus Wind Bands.
In 2022, they were recognized as a "Beijing Featured" Wind Band.
In May 2023, they won the Gold Award at the Changping District Primary and Secondary School Students' Art Festival collective project competition.

Wang Shirong is a music teacher at Changping Chengguan Primary School, Beijing. He has been teaching music for many years and has rich teaching experience. He was selected as a director of the Changping Musicians Association for his outstanding personal abilities. He has conducted the school wind band to win the title of "Zhonghua Cup" Demonstration Band and the Gold Award at the Beijing Primary and Secondary School Students' Art Festival. He has also won awards such as the Best Conductor Award at the Beijing Wind Band Festival and the Gold Award at the Edinburgh Youth Orchestra International Music Festival.
