Symphonisches Jugendblasorchester Frauenkirchen

In 1998 the idea arose to found a youth wind orchestra with the students of the music schools in the Neusiedl am See district. The ultimate goal is the long-term establishment of sophisticated symphonic brass music with a gradual development according to the international trend in our region. The content that we want to force is that the young musicians from our schools, who are now enjoying an excellent education, are offered a platform where they can develop and establish their group play, ensemble play and orchestral play.

The orchestra organizes at least two concert projects a year with different topics and contents. Participation in orchestral competitions is just as much a part of this as organizing school concerts or musical performances. The projects in this school year were a concert with the symphonic wind orchestra of the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in the cultural center Eisenstadt and a concert with the Greenbank High School - wind band from Manchaster.

The orchestra is lead by Karin Steiner and the conductor MMag. Dr. Günther Kleidosty.
